Unitron Hearing Aids

Unitron Hearing was first formed in 1965 and expanded when the Canadian company Unitron Industries merged with two American companies, Argosy Hearing Solutions and Lori Medical Labs. The company, which has its headquarters in Kitchener, Canada, is an innovative international supplier of hearing healthcare products.

Unitron has extensive product lines of digital hearing aids available in a variety of model types for all levels of hearing impairment. Their digital product lines include: Liaison, Conversa and Unison.
Liaison is a fully automatic hearing aid that has a realtime feedback canceller and an automatic wind noise canceller, and the devices in the Liaison series can be programmed to choose sound through a noise reduction system. Liaison is available in behind-the-ear (BTE), in-the-ear (ITE), in-the-canal (ITC) and completely-in-the-canal (CIC) models.

Conversa is available in many style types and has many interesting features including ClearCall, a patented technology that increases all aspects of phone conversations, as well as ClearPath, which detects speech and voices while minimizing disruptive background noise.

Unitron's analogue and programmable hearing aid product series range from: Sound F/X, Sound F/X Programmable, Unitron Hearing Custom and Icon. Sound F/X Programmable automatically adjusts to different noise levels via two channels and two programs. It is equipped with a directional microphone that minimizes background noise while enhancing the users' ability to hear speech clearly.
